Deepening cooperation with Fotonika Plus

On 2 September the company  Fotonika Plus handed over a modern LIKA-LD laser diode system to the Department of Computer-Integrated Technologies of Instrument Manufacturing, Faculty of Instrument Engineering, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The device is intended  for carrying out  research in laser and optoelectronic technologies, medicine and biology. The device was presented in more detail by representatives  of the company  Fotonika Plus: CITIM department graduate and process engineer Olha Komarova, and engineer and  official representative  of the company for communication with educational institutions Yurii Ivanovych Shynkarenko.

The system includes an electronic unit and a set of 11 laser modules, each using a laser diode with a wide spectral range, from ultraviolet to near infrared. The design of the device  allows three independent modules to be connected at once, which makes it possible to carry out research using several wavelengths. The official handover of the LIKA-LD device was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Instrument Engineering M.V. Filippova, the Chair of the Faculty Academic Council H.S. Tymchyk, the Head of the CITIM Department N.V. Stelmakh, lecturers, researchers and students. The participants stressed the importance of such initiatives for improving the quality of specialist training and developing the university’s scientific schools.

We thank our long-standing and reliable partner, Fotonika Plus!
