On 15.03.2018 the department hosted a meeting with our graduates Yevhenii Nadtochii and Mykhailo Kasprov, together with their colleague Serhii Shylin, who work at Materialise. The company is headquartered in Belgium and has production sites in various countries in Europe and around the world. At the meeting Yevhenii and his colleagues spoke about designing 3D models from CT and MRI scans, the specifics of cranio-maxillofacial surgery, and knee joint replacement. Yevhenii also gave a clear demonstration of the production process in medical 3D printing and the stages of implant design and manufacture, answered questions and gave advice on possible ways to find a job at Materialise. The students and staff of the department sincerely thank Yevhenii and his colleagues for an informative meeting and for their time!
