On 16-17 January, the CITIM department held Master’s thesis defences in the educational and professional programme “Computer-Integrated Systems and Technologies in Instrument Engineering”. The following theses were presented:
Automated laser surgery system (Bohdan Oleksandrovych Bataliia, supervisor: Mykola Fedorovych Tereshchenko, PhD, Associate Professor);
Detection of fire sources using small UAVs (Svitlana Oleksandrivna Mandrovska, supervisor: Nataliia Volodymyrivna Stelmakh, PhD, Associate Professor);
Monitoring the penetration of medicinal substances into biological tissues with an automated magnetic therapy system (Roman Andriiovych Rohozhnikov, supervisor: Mykola Fedorovych Tereshchenko, PhD, Associate Professor);
Automated surface type identification module for a bionic prosthesis system (Maryna Serhiivna Shchur, supervisor: Kostiantyn Petrovych Vonsevych, PhD, Associate Professor);
Assessment of the effect of ultrasound parameters on biological tissues exposed to an automated biomedical system (Dmytro Kostiantynovych Podsievak, supervisor: Mykola Fedorovych Tereshchenko, PhD, Associate Professor);
Automated module for spectral analysis of myographic signals (Volodymyr Vladyslavovych Tereshchenko, supervisor: Mykhailo Oleksandrovych Bezuhlyi, DSc, Professor);
Optimisation of the parameters of a goniometric information and measurement system for determining the refractive index (Oleksandra Vitaliivna Romodan, supervisor: Natalia Vasylivna Bezuhla, PhD, Associate Professor);
Automated system for optical inspection of the surface roughness of parts (Bohdan Petrovych Melnychuk, supervisor: Vadym Vadymovych Shevchenko, PhD, Associate Professor);
Monitoring the parameters of ventilation tubing in a mechanical ventilator (Yurii Anatoliiovych Yukhymenko, supervisor: Nataliia Volodymyrivna Stelmakh, PhD, Associate Professor);
Automated system for monitoring photoplethysmogram parameters (Yevhenii Oleksandrovych Burkovskyi, supervisor: Natalia Vasylivna Bezuhla, PhD, Associate Professor);
Automated functional diagnostics system for early detection of pulmonary hypertension (Yevhenii Oleksandrovych Yakobchuk, supervisor: Tetiana Redzhynaldivna Klochko, PhD, Senior Researcher);
Automated system for inspecting a product during 3D printing (Maksym Serhiiovych Druziev, supervisor: Dmytro Volodymyrovych Velyhotskyi, PhD, Assistant).
Despite the difficult times and air raid alerts, the students successfully presented their research results, received positive marks and the Examination Board’s decision to award them the second level of higher education, “Master’s in Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies”.
Congratulations to our graduates!
