6 May saw the opening of the International Scientific and Technical Conference “Instrument Engineering 2023: State and Prospects”. The plenary session was opened by the Dean of the Faculty, H. S. Tymchyk, with a welcoming speech dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The next report, “Use of modern measuring systems in studying the heat supply of premises with innovative energy-efficient air conditioning systems”, was presented by I. K. Bozhko, Senior Researcher at the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
H. V. Dorozhynska, Assistant of the Department of Information and Measuring Technologies at KPI, spoke about “Prospects for the development of nanotechnology in sensor systems”, and the plenary session was closed by M. M. Hladskyi, Deputy Director of Progresstech-Ukraine LLC, with a talk on “Introducing the certificate programme ‘Computer-integrated design technologies’ from Progresstech-Ukraine”. The conference then continued in sections.
