On 18.12.2017, as part of our career guidance work, the department hosted a meeting with students of the First Kyiv Medical College specialising in “Laboratory Diagnostics”. The students learnt about the university, how the educational process works and the job prospects in the speciality “Medical Devices and Systems”, in which our department trains students who already hold the “junior specialist” level of education.

The guests at the event were Oksana Liashenko from the Student Academic Mobility Office and Maryna Ienina (a graduate of NTUU “KPI” and of the double degree programme with the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST)), who now works at EOS (Electro Optical Systems) as an Application Engineer in Austin, Texas, United States of America.

The guests gave the students a presentation on the EU Erasmus+ academic exchange programme, introducing the various options for short-term study abroad through credit mobility, and shared their own experience of the double degree programme and their subsequent successful careers.
