Learning to use modern technologies in biomedical engineering is essential for students and teachers of the department. That is why, recently, the senior teacher of the Department of Instrument Making, Ph.D. Kostiantyn Vonsevych, a practical course from LightForce Orthodontics on “Fundamentals of anatomy and application of automation systems and CAD technologies in orthodontics,” was completed. During the training, the main organism anatomical features, the dental and orthodontic basis for using bracket systems, and modern automated technologies and engineering solutions used in orthodontics were considered. The acquired practical experience will be used and will improve the quality of teaching disciplines in automated biomedical technologies, particularly in modern trends in the development of orthodontics.
