On June 7, 2023, the senior teacher of the instrument-making department, Kostiantyn Vonsevich, was invited to conduct an open lecture as part of the “Innovative solutions in medicine” section at the business exhibition “East-Expo 2023”. The event took place in Kyiv, on the premises of the Mystetskyi Arsenal, within the framework of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for reconstruction and peacebuilding, with the financial support of the European Union, the US Embassy in Ukraine, and the Government of Croatia. The event has been held annually since 2017 in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk, and Kherson regional state administrations, the Donetsk Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine.

As part of the presentation on the topic: “Bionic prosthetics. World experience and domestic solutions,” considered modern trends in developing prosthetics and robotic limbs, features of their construction, implementation, and pricing. Examples of current samples and projects of both Ukrainian and foreign production are shown.

In the process of discussion and professional discussions with specialized specialists, possible options for developing personal projects in the indicated direction and potential cooperation of the department with partners in the field of prosthetics and rehabilitation were determined.
