Heat and mass transfer during laser irradiation study NEWS In mid-March 2023, in Photonics Plus and the Academy of Laser Medicine laboratories in Cherkasy, a master’s student PB-21mp Bohdan Batalia (scientific supervisor – associate professor Mykola Tereshchenko) made a series of experiments on the spatial distribution of laser radiation in biological tissue study. The experiments aimed to evaluate the parameters of the temperature gradient change on the fabric surface under laser radiation of different wavelengths and power. Research is aimed at studying heat and mass exchange during the interaction of laser radiation with various types of biological tissues. Comparisons of the temperature gradient and speed values, as well as the time of heat and mass exchange for various combinations of fabric layers and depth, were made, which are planned to be reported at future scientific conferences.
