Instrument Engineering 2024: state and prospects

On 14-15 May 2024 the International Scientific and Technical Conference “Instrument Engineering 2024: State and Prospects” was held on ZOOM. The plenary session was opened with a welcome speech by Professor H. S. Tymchyk, DSc, Dean of the Faculty. The next talk, “Features of building an expert information and measurement system for detecting neurotoxication”, was given by Professor R. A. Tkachuk, DSc, of Ivan Puluj Ternopil National Technical University.

R. A. Tkachuk, Commercial Director of the Technopolis Innovation and Technology Centre, gave a talk on “Innovation in Ukrainian mechanical engineering through the introduction of modern tools, equipment and technologies”, and the plenary session was closed by Professor Yu. M. Tuz, DSc, of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, with the talk “A monitoring system for separable elements”. The conference then continued in sections.

Lecturers, PhD students and Master’s students of the Department of Computer-Integrated Technologies of Instrument Manufacturing presented their research in Section 3 “Computer-Integrated Technologies of Instrument Manufacturing” and Section 6 “Information and Measurement Engineering and Technologies of Biomedical Research”:

  • “Analysis of the parameters of a catapult-type launcher taking into account the characteristics of an unmanned aerial vehicle”, D. V. Bukovska, V. S. Antoniuk
  • «Preparation of the database for neural network training in the problems of product defect recognition» Ihor Mastenko, Nataliia Stelmakh, Pawel Komada
  • “Ergonomic aspects of designing a human lower limb prosthesis”, P. K. Krynytskyi, T. R. Klochko
  • «Detection and elimination of noise in low-dose lung computed tomography using neural network methods» Serdiuk O., Stelmakh N.
  • “Operating algorithms of a computer-integrated ultrasound biomedical system”, B. S. Deineko, M. F. Tereshchenko
